What else was there to do in lockdown other than learning a new skill?
It started with a bunch of wool leftovers and some childhood memories of how I had to learn crochet in primary school. So, I bought myself a non-expensive crochet hook from the craft shop, watched a Youtube tutorial on crochet for beginners and voila all crochet-stitch memories came back.
I got to work and found myself crocheting while listening to audiobooks or binging on TV shows from Netflix & Co. During both lockdowns I created beanies scarfs, gloves, booties, hot water bottle covers, cardigans, pot covers, bags and other things.
